TIESTO LAUNCHES STREAMLINE SOUND

Streamline Studios, an independent game developer and leading digital content provider for AAA videogames, and Black Hole Recordings, DJ Tiesto's electronic music record label, announced the formation of Streamline Sound, a joint venture dedicated to providing sound solutions for digital entertainment.

Streamline Sound combines Streamline’s existing audio services and 5.1 studio with the entire artist roster and catalog of Black Hole Recordings, including Grammy-nominated electronic music superstar Tiësto, as well as a large number of independent composers and musicians.

“Streamline Sound provides one-stop shopping for game developers and publishers, with comprehensive music and audio services, music licensing, and an innovative music publishing model,” said Alexander L. Fernandez, CEO of Streamline Studios. “Original game music soundtracks released on Streamline Records can put money back into the pocket of the publisher or developer who commissioned the work.”

“Streamline Sound is the new partner for independent artists who want to create audio for videogames,” said Black Hole Recordings artist and co-founder Tiësto. “I wanted to help create a platform to not only put my own musical ideas into games but the music of innovative artists from all genres, whether electronic, classical, rock, or hip-hop.”

For digital entertainment creators and publishers, Streamline Sound provides a full, independent solution for high quality, legally transparent, and fairly priced original and licensed music and audio content. In addition to creating audio and music, Streamline Sound can publish songs worldwide and release music through Streamline Records on both physical (CD and vinyl) and downloadable media, creating additional revenue streams for game publishers and developers who commission work.

Iwan de Kuijper, New Media Manager for Black Hole Recordings, will be the General Manager of Streamline Sound overseeing business matters, with music industry veteran artist and engineer Tom Pearce functioning as Audio Director for projects.
