Mobile software developer Emdigo has partnered with INgrooves to deliver top music artists in 3D animation, alongside favorite chart-topping tunes with the new INgrooves Music Screensaver mobile application.
Available in the USA in November on Verizon and Alltel Wireless, INgrooves Music Screensaver will allow consumers to browse through an entire catalog of artists by genre. The INgrooves Music Screensaver offers fifteen second audio clips of featured artists, including Tila Tequila, Too Short, B Legit and more, along with 3D animated screensavers of the artists.
“By combining our catalogue of music artists and images with Emdigo’s proprietary mobile content development technology, we are able to bring music fans a completely new and unique type of mobile phone content featuring our artists and animated graphics,” said Adam Hiles, INgrooves COO. “We’re proud to be leading off our partnership offering with Tila Tequila, Too Short and B Legit as our initial featured artists.”
Additional to the catalog and audio clips the INgrooves Music Screensavers will feature photos of artists and album cover artwork (static 2D wallpaper and/or 3D screensaver) and interactive 3D animated avatars of the Top 10 artists per genre that can be saved as screensavers. It will also have dialing skins by artist and/or by music genre, and playlist/bookmarking features that allow a slideshow of downloaded screensavers of an image linked to a song to play on auto-start.
“Emdigo’s partnership with INgrooves allows us to bring a new and entertaining visual element to music content for mobile,” said Steve Gleitsmann, president of Emdigo. “Our animated 3D graphics paired with music from INgrooves is merely the beginning of our plans to expand our efforts in the music space. Through partnerships like this one with INgrooves, Emdigo continues to strive towards improving the content available on mobile today.”
