WANTED: A REAL-LIFE DJ HERO

MIDEM and Activision Blizzard are offering you the chance to get your song mashed up in the next DJ Hero!

When you registered for MIDEM 2010 you can submit your unsigned track before January 19. Activision Blizzard will then choose the top 10 tracks to be presented to a carefully selected jury during the DJ Hero Listening Session at the music event in Cannes. All submissions will go through a screening process, prior to the Listening Session, which will be done by Activision Blizzard.

DJ Hero is looking for various styles ranging from electronica, hip-hop, rock and other genres useable in a DJ set that would make great gameplay. At this moment the game features music from the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Nordic Territories.

In previous years of MIDEM, Welsh band ATTACK! ATTACK! UK and The Answer, were discovered at a similar Listening Sessions for Guitar Hero, and saw their tracks appear in the Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero World Tour's set lists respectively so take your chance!

MIDEM 2010 takes place from the 24th to 27th of January in Cannes, France.
