Tim Exile is the recording alias of Tim Shaw, a producer and performer of electronic music spanning drum and bass, IDM, breakcore and gabber. He has released his music on pioneering labels such as Moving Shadow, Beta Recordings, Warp and Planet Mu. Tim took the opportunity on January 20th to mash Barack Obama's inauguration speech with the live remix/mashup/improv machine he's made. It's all improvised using the BBC world service live web stream. Unfortunately the web stream flaked out at the beginning of his speech so I had to start part way in," he said.
