David Holmes used to be one of our favorite producers/remixers in the 90's. He's now set to release a 'Best Of' collection called 'The Dogs Are Parading'.

David Holmes used to be one of our favorite producers/remixers in the 90's. Especially his debut album "This Film's Crap Let's Slash the Seats" from 1995 (which featured artists including Steve Hillage) was a great album inspired by movies and movie soundtracks. Besides releasing original music he remixed artists including U2, Manics, St Etienne, Doves and Primal Scream.

Holmes has released four other solo albums including 'Let's Get Killed', 'Stop Arresting Artists' and 'Bow Down To The Exit Sign' plus 'David Holmes Presents The Free Association'. He has also worked on many film scores and soundtracks including Ocean's 11, 12 and 13, and Hunger.

For 2010, he has scored Pierre's Bounty, a new Irish film that debuted at the Toronto Film Festival, starring Cillian Murphy and Brendan Gleeson.

His last album 'The Holy Pictures' came out last year but he's set to release a 'Best Of' collection later this year. This album called 'The Dogs Are Parading' is released on 26th April on Universal.
