He has been consistently voted as one of the Top 10 DJs in the world for almost a decade by DJ Magazine, Ferry Corsten. The famous Dutch DJ announced that a new dance themed rhythm game for the iPhone and PC, entitled 'Pulse', will be launched next month.

"I was trying to combine my music and games for quite some time. Then I met the guys from Virtual Fairground who showed me a demo of Pulse", says Ferry Corsten. "With my experience and their game design skills we have been able to shape Pulse into both a great game and something that makes you feel like a DJ. I can’t wait to see Pulse in the hands of players."

"Music and rhythm action games are always hard to describe in words or to communicate with images, but we are creating something really cool, perfectly tailored to each platform", says Maarten Brands of Virtual Fairground. "We expect to be able to demo the game to the press at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Pulse really is something you need to experience."

With Pulse, Ferry Corsten follows in the footsteps of his other Dutch colleague, Armin van Buuren, who previously launched iPhone apps as well. His game title "Armin van Buuren - In the Mix" for the Nintendo Wii system is still in planned. Release date is unknown. DJ Tiesto is also busy in the game industry as a partner in Streamline Sound, a joint venture between Streamline Studios, an independent game developer and leading digital content provider for AAA videogames, and his record label Blackhole Recordings.

Ferry Corsten's game 'Pulse' will be launched at the Winter Music Conference in Miami on March 27th, 2010. If you like Ferry Corsten's music, check out his new FC System F remix contest that's currently running. Click the link below for more info about 'Pulse'.
