Hook & Bellboy are Back

RETURN OF HOOK & BELLBOY

Tue, March 24, 2009
After battling aliens for the last five years Bellboy and Hook are back with the two very first new releases which will be released simultaneously on April 20th.

Label founder Chris Cowie teamed up with songwriter and vocalist Rachel Skotarzcyk (RAI) a native of Detroit for the return of Bellboy with the release of Closer. The Detroit mix is to die for creating a mood on the floor that will have the crowd lost in the groove. The X cabs mix is a Techy affair for those that prefer it served with a little more action. The original vocal mix is a highly infectious grower with a deep moody vocal that aims to send a powerful message. Cowie again shows his diverse production skills which are currently employed in co writing and producing RAI's debut album.

With Deadweight/Zero Balance Los Angeles producer Nicholas Bennison provides Hook with an on form three track prime time groover. Crisp, clean beats sit perfectly next to stabby keys, fluid appregios and subtle warm keys, with arrangements taking the clubbers on a musical adventure through peaks and valleys. Doing the remix honours is the prolific and fast building name DJ Reaky. His take on Zero Balance is already supported by Paul Van Dyk and the title track is championed by John Fleming.
