Electro act Client have amassed a large and dedicated following across Europe since they first revealed themselves in London's Soho back in 2003. For us Laptoprockers, listening to their tunes is like taking a warm bath. Their most recent album 'Heartland' is Client at their very best. Dirty but decent!

Founded by Sarah Blackwood and Kate Holmes, who both played in several other bands before, Client simply keeps on rocking. Client is so popular in Germany they have a dedicated German website!

Client just finished touring Austria and Germany, and will tour in Scandinavia beginning of next year. Kate Holmes told us all the things we didn't know.

Your MySpace Page lists seven band members: Clients A, B, E, C, X, R and M. We thought you were a trio! We know Sarah and you are Clients A and B. It is said Client E (Bassplayer Emily Mann) has left the band in September. Can you tell something about this?

"Client has always been a duo A and B but for Heartland we added a bass with Client E. We knew we always preferred to be three on stage too. Emily decided to pursue a modelling career full-time so mutually left, although she is welcome to play anytime! We now have three other girl bass players we perform with and to be honest it keeps it really exciting live as each girl adds something a bit different.
