DJ Sasha - an enthusiastic Ableton Live user who DJs and produces with the software - composed the music for a 96-minute feature documentary on Guatemalan football legend, Juan Carlos Plata. "321: Juan Carlos Plata" premiered on Feb 16, 2006 at the National theater in Guatemala City where two thousand plus fans and special guests were in attendance for the screening of the biographical documentary film covering the life and career of Juan Carlos Plata, top-goal scorer (still active) in the history of professional Guatemalan football. At 94 minutes long, edited to the beats of an original soundtrack produced by Sasha, the film is included on a Special Edition DVD, alongside over 90 minutes of extra features and over 215 Juan Carlos Plata official career goals. Check the opening credits or watch the trailer (right). Although already released last year in South America (Spanish with English subtitles and region free) Sasha's online merchandise store is now making it available as well. |
