10 years in the making, the aptly named "Decade" is Rabbit in the Moon's first full-length project that is a CD/DVD combo that features previously unreleased tracks, re-mastered songs and mind tripping music videos. Each song on the album is an expression of visual music performed like an electronic circus with abstract narratives and dynamic presentation.
The music incased in this project will bring back feel good memories of the classic dynamic that is R.I.T.M. – they are responsible for one of the most influential songs of our time, "Out Of BodyExperience (O.B.E.)" - Free download! This project also presents the future of the Rabbit sound, one which will be heard on dance floors across the globe. Tinged with eclectic tech inspired moments and filled with a rock-fused sound that is the signature of Rabbit In The Moon.
"Our cover of David Bowie's "Let's Dance" is the first single off the new album. We basically made a protest song out of one of my favorite pop songs of the 80's. It already says what we wanted to say, we just had to add our own tone to it. "Put on your red shoes and dance the blues" its a metaphor for fighting, and fight we do." states Bunny, the mythical front man.
"The music video for this electro clash meets industrial anthem is a full on bloody riot. It was filmed on location in the Czech Republic at the World Trade Organization protest rally. It is hand held footage of 5000 protesters taking back the streets, and fighting the evil empire is the theme, mixed with live performance footage in front of 20,000 screaming kids at Miami's Ultra Music Festival. "We can, we will, survive!" is the mantra."
