THE CURE TO PLAY ULTRA AT WMC 2007

It's now officially confirmed: The Cure is headlining the Ultra Music Festival at Miami's Bicentennial Park during the Winter Music Conference 2007 in Miami. The successful English rock band of frontman Robert Smith is widely seen as one of the leading pioneers of the British alternative rock scene of the 1980s.
The band will be on tour to promote their new DVD 'The Cure: Festival 2005', a 30-song compilation capturing their performances in Europe by a mix of fans, crew and 'on-the-night big-screen-cameras'. The Ultra show will be the bands first live show of 2007.

The Ultra Music Festival 9 will take place on Saturday March 24 2007 (11am-12-am), and will be WMC'07 official closing event. Last years edition of Ultra Music Festival (UMF8) had The Prodigy, Rabbit In The Moon, The Killers, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin and Danny Tenaglia amongst others.
