"Well respected journalist Claudia Assef commented on my just released documentary 'Anderson Noise - 1969 Connection', that I have the same adrenalin as a young DJ on fire. It's true - I'm still very much excited when DJing, especially when I’m connected with a large audience."
You have seen it all. From the rise of Acid in the early 90's to the recent popularity of Minimal. What is next to come?
"In 2008 I've seen a lot of people looking for Latin rhythms and moods. I guess the next big thing in electronic music is a wide research of different cultures around the world."
How do you feel about the DJ mag top 100? Is that list still of any value?
"I respect a lot their credibility as a pioneer DJ-list, even knowing the criticism of some people."
As a DJ, how do you decide which record to play next? Do you watch the dance floor a lot?
"I think I’m a DJ who watch the dance floor too much, but I just follow my instincts."
Last year, Noise Music released the “Homem-Cachorro Remixes” EP in October. What´s so special about this release?
"This music is very special because I did it with my son. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m very connected to my family. At the time, the video-clip was appointed to the Video Music Brazil, the MTV's annual awards ceremony. The presence of pop musicians in the video, as the singer Rogério Flausino, from the band Jota Quest, was cool too."
