"My favourite 'French Chanson' performer ever is Henri Salvador. “Une Chanson Douce” is such a great song!"

"I think it’s just a question of who you are. I’m very happy with my success but I try to continue being close to the people surrounding me and spent time with them. After each show I mix with the crowd and on MySpace I answer questions every day. So for the moment I’m not sad, but if one day I’m a real superstar... maybe."
More women are involved making Electronic music today than ever before. Sonar even made that a central theme this year. Do you think there's a distinction between "female" and "male" music?
"I don’t know. Maybe it’s easier to make music and be recognized for women today. Maybe girls even are more noticed than boys right now. But I think there were women into music at the beginning of last century but they were not taken seriously because they were women! Today we have more rights and a girl can be just as famous as a boy - so the music industry is less shy."
You did a remix contest earlier this year for "Ce Jeu". When you posted the results in your blog, you honoured a rework of that track that made you cry - but said the track couldn't be in the top 10 because it was too far away from the original. Can you explain a bit more?
"This remix is actually not a remix but a real new song. The author '835' changed the lyrics, inverted words, changed the instrumentation - everything done really great! That’s why he earned a honorable mention. I didn’t want to relate his amazing work with a “championship”. Just a question of feeling."
