"In the future I would maybe like to work with Sei Es Drum or maybe Cadenza as I really like the dj style of both Villalobos and Luciano."

You released your music on respected labels such as Rekids, Buzzin Fly and SAW, each having their own distinctive style. Were these your favorite labels before you released on them yourself?
"I was always a fan of those labels before I even started producing and I really like the fact that I can release a techno record on Rekids and a deep house record on Buzzin' Fly. My production is really an extension of my DJ style - I only make records that I would be happy to play out in a club - so it makes sense that I produce for the labels whose records I play every weekend. I also like the fact that these labels have very high quality control standards. People look forward to a Rekids release and they expect it to be good! So I'm very happy they believe in me enough to support me so much."
Which other labels would you love to release your music on?
"In the future I would maybe like to work with Sei Es Drum or maybe Cadenza as I really like the DJ style of both Villalobos and Luciano."
You make special remixes and re-edits of tracks so you can play them as "secret weapons" in your DJ sets. Two of them are Ricardo Villalobos' "Enfants" and Afefe Iku's "Mirror Dance". We are big fans of both tracks - are these ever going to be released?
"Aaah, thank you! Well, I was a massive fan of both records and was playing them both pretty early so I really had an opportunity to get to know them inside out. I loved the "Chants" of "Enfants" and loved the beats too but thought I could add some of my own beats as I noticed the two tracks were in the same key. I also wanted to add a few little effects to keep it interesting and make it stand out as, by this point, everyone was playing the original as it had just been released.
"With "Mirror Dance", I thought it was an amazing record but possibly with one of the worst structures ever! The intro was very short, the drums were not completely in time, the main break is right at the end etc.. But I loved all the individual elements in the track, so I just edited them into something that was more appealing to the people that play underground clubs every week."
