ABOUT YOSHITOSHI AND BEATPORT'S MONGOOSE REMIX CONTEST

How did you meet Collins and why did you decide to form a production team together?

"We first met while working for the same radio station. Collins invited me for a club gig at his residency, and since that time we started collaborating. At that time I used to play real Techno music, and he spinned House music. So we mixed up my Techno style with his House influence, and started producing. We are team also because it's really boring to travel around every weekend alone :)"

You've been DJing internationally at many places. Is the dance scene in Hungary different compared to the rest of the world?

"Well, we really like to travel all around, and play for different crowds. In Hungary the crowd tends to categorize DJs, like this is a Techno DJ, this is a House DJ, and people don't like different genres to be mixed up at the same party. But they are party hard, no doubt about that, so we have some really crazy parties over here. If I must say which crowd is the best for us, it is the crazy Japanese crowd. They are so craaaazy."
