Recently you have been collaborating with System7. What is it you're working on with them?
"We are working on a track with System 7 as we speak - called 'Doghead' - it's based on an original manga comic story about the cult of the light, the order of the phoenix. The central character is a guy who has had his head replaced with that of a dog! System 7 will then guest on the next project we do which will probably be a down tempo album for Interchill."
Working solo you made a track with Simon Posford. We image there's a certain chemistry between the two of you with massive potential to create undisclosed new sounds. What can we expect from this in the future?
"The album is absolutely insane so far - we spend hours making the weirdest noises! And hours trying to make each other laugh!"
The name "Eat Static" probably will always be related to Psy-Trance, but over over the years you released 20 CDs mashing up many other genres. It makes it difficult to corner you. Tell us about the new album!
"IT IS A MAD ONE!
"We're back to the alien theme, trying to take trance a step forward as a lot of it has got tired sounding and stale. People get too frightened of not fitting into the genre."

"De-Classified" - originally due for release autumn 2006 - will be out next month! Were these guys ever on time? If you liked the earlier stuff Eat Static did, then this one is for you!
