We teamed up with you to feature this track in our next contest, with the winning remix being released on your label. What do look for in a remix, and are there any things you absolutely dislike?

"I like minimal and deep sounding impregnated with power. It should not be a remix which is written only for the feet."

What are you currently working on, and what can we expect from you in the course of this year?

"My new tracks 'Brutalizm' and 'Muay Thai' have just been released on DAR 14. I will also soon release the EP 'Test Drive' which includes three new compositions I finished recently. It contains the quiet track 'Freefall,' the romantic track 'One Way Ticket,' which I wrote recollecting the small town on the border with Iran where I moved from to Moscow - and the accordingly driving and nervous track 'Test Drive.'

"As I will continue to improve the sound and further develop the label "DAR", I will also be engaged in the organisation of the “DAR Sessions” parties and advancement of artists on my label. Already there have been very successful raves in Dubai, Moscow, and in Ukraine - at festival Kazantip.

"Without doubt, one of the most significant things for me this year is DAR's presence at the world famous 'Love Parade' on July 24th in the German city Duisburg. And of course Ibiza is obligatory in July and August. Clubbers can expect some grandiose action in the legendary club Amnesia.”

"Legends of dance music culture such as Danny Tenaglia, Nick Warren, Timo Maas, Dave Seaman, John Digweed, Style Of Eye and Robert Babizc have supported my music and have taken part in label action. It is pleasant to see and hear the tracks in sets by Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and Jimmy Van M. In general, all goes well and I am sure it will even get better."

How are you going to judge the entries in this remix contest? Any last minute tips for the remixers?

"It can be any style, the main thing that it has to be atmospheric and of course has to be made professionally. I respect musicians who bear in mind their own signature sound, and apply this in a qualitative manner. The remix of "Heroin" that is closest to me in terms of sound and mood will win."
