"The first album didn't make it and so it's still on my computer. It will never come out. It looks like the 2nd one is about to face the same destiny, but 3 is a lucky number."

Aha, your birthday - why didn´t we think of that before? ;) But now we know this, we can't wait any longer: Tell us the big the news! Album. Album. Album!

And how about the Umek Live band?

''The Live band was an idea that would come with the release of the 2nd album, which now won't come out, so I guess my live band is on hold.''

Live band on hold? Well that's a pity - but who knows it will be a future thing. With Umek you never know. Let's wait for the album first.

Meanwhile - anyone out there got a brilliant idea for an Umek remix contest to put up here at Laptoprockers? Just not another basic remix competition, so let your imagination flow - anything goes. Let's convince him! His tracks are brilliant - who wouldn't want to give it a go with remixing one of these!
