SONAR LOVE

We loved the material sound of Justice: Raw Daft Punk. But not for too long, so we moved along to stumble into Roísín Murphy at The Sonar Park stage. "I'm a Moviestar," she sang, posing and acting - giving us "We can be Heroes" flashbacks. First class theatre! The lady from Moloko accompanied by Bugz in the Attic and Groove Armada: Love at first sight.

Later that evening female DJ Magda made it clear Techno is amongst the softer genres of electronic music today. At least compared to the roaring sounds of Justice. But Magda made us dance! Sound quality? Very very good - compliments to Sónar! The sound was great everywhere! Period. More love? Yes, we loved the girl at the juice bar. Just like the day before. Thanks sweetie!

Saturday, we started loving the girls at the beach and never made it to the day programme. That evening, after seeing the Dutch Soccer team lose from Russia, we were ready for some more action at Sónar. We loved slowdancing at Chloe's weird palette of dreamscapes after taking a snapshot of Yazoo and we hated M.I.A. for not being there! For health reasons, M.I.A. cancelled her European Tour including her show at Sónar. The one act we planned to see, wasn't there!

That was too much after the soccer debacle. So we decided to go see some clubs. We went to Pacha and some other places, not finding the action we were looking for. But then - close to our hotel, we found Razzmatazz. A club with a vibe - and yes, it became late! And we loved the female factor there as well. In fact we loved everything and found truth!
