Are there any other secret weapons you play but no one knows about?
"Hehe. There are a few but you'll have to listen to me and try and figure 'em out ;)"
How is it to work with Diesel from X Press 2? Any new tracks coming up from the two of you?
"Diesel is a phenomenal DJ and producer so to work with someone like him, who has such an amazing musical heritage, was really cool. We aimed to do 3 singles as co.Lab and we have one to go, so we'll definitely release another single, hopefully sometime this year. We always have fun in the studio and Diesel schools me on some great older records I have no idea about so it's always really interesting - and hopefully the results aren't too bad either..."
The tips & tricks up on your Myspace blog are a must read for everyone who likes traveling! Absolutely hilarious. It seems that Eastern-Europe is THE place to be right now. Haha! Tell us something cool you have experienced recently.
"Not that many cool things happen to me - more bad things - like missing planes and almost being thrown in prison in Russia and things like that. I'm getting ready to move to Berlin soon though so I will have to learn to be cool so they don't point at me and laugh - like every other country I go too :)
Any new releases coming up?
"Yes, lot's of new music this year for sure! I'm touring all the time and really busy as a DJ so that will continue - I hope!
"With production, first up is Spencer Parker and Diesel pres. co.Lab "Zanzibar" on Saved Records with a great Nick Curly Remix. Then I have a single coming on Liebe*Detail called "Untitled Head" as well as some singles on Rekids - "YOGOTO", "Romantic" (with Djulz Remix) and "My Heart" (with Daniel Sanchez Remix). Also before the summer I will put out my second single on Buzzin' Fly "The Beginning".
"And then I'll go on holiday!"

Other than that Spencer Parker's first ever DJ mix compilation is featured in a three CD release called "Rekids Revolution" just out on Radio Slave's Rekids label. The first two CDs of this release contain unmixed versions of some the best original tracks and remixes that appeared on Rekids over the years, as well as some exclusive new tracks. The third CD features the 12 most prominent Rekids releases so far mixed by Spencer Parker. This mix has been well received and includes highlights such as ‘Serotone’ by Matt O’Brien as well as Radio Slave’s ‘Secret Base’ and the first ever Rekids release ‘My Bleep’.
