Can you tell a bit about the atmosphere we can expect on the new album? Why the title "Live as One"?

"The atmosphere on the album revolves around human warmth and compassion - positive energy and self determination.

"There is also a lot of political comment- while half the world is at war, the other half shops. We all know this is not good enough- this is part of the reasoning behind the title.

"Also we live on a dynamic organism- the Earth. We are living parasitically on this organism, we all know that as well. Until we unite in mind and action we are in peril. Humanity needs to drop the arrogance and realise that the Earth is in charge, not us- then we may survive. Rather than live as parasites on this organism, we need to adapt to living as faithful subjects in the realm of the earth - to live as one and therefore allow humanity, Earth and all her inhabitants share a common, progressive destiny..."

After Molara decided to go solo Zion Train live mainly relied on renowned male vocalists such as Dubdadda, Brother Culture, Earl 16 and Tippa Irie. Your website mentions contributions from Marlene Johnson for the new album. Will she join Zion Train live?

"Yes! In Cracow in Poland (March 10) we will play live with all 7 of the artists featured on the album. As Zion Train is a musical collective we will try to maintain a live presence with as many of these artists as possible."
