2RAUMWOHNUNG REMIX CONTEST

Berlin based electronic pop act 2raumwohnung (Inga Humpe and Tommi Eckart) have released several albums since the duo's inception in the year 2000.

Sung in the German language their music style is hard to pin down, but over the years their versatility delivered great pop songs that turned out blueprints for amazing remixes. Their sixth studio album "Lasso" (July, 2009) is no exception.

“Body Is Boss” is the 4th single off the album and will be released on July 2nd 2010 alongside a Lasso Remix album. Producer legends Michael lbert and Jochen Schmalbach laid their hands on “Body is Boss” and turned the already very danceable song into a sparkling radio version, whilst Westbam produced an amazing disco remix of “Female Trouble”. Other remixers who have set their mark on the Lasso album songs include Moritz von Oswald, Paul Kalkbrenner, Blake Baxter, Robert Babicz and Thomas Schumacher.

To test your remix skills TracksAndFields posted the stems of “Body Is Boss” in a new remix contest. The winning remix will be considered for a digital release on EMI's it-sounds label.
