Andrew Martin is a British singer, songwriter and musician based in Cambridge, England.
His music evolves around 80's styled synths, catchy robotic hooks and pop friendly vocals. As he puts it, his "Indietronica glampop-electro has been influenced by audio adventures with Kraftwerk, The Sweet, Goldfrapp, Beck, The Postal Service, Trentmoller, Owl City, Amon Tobin, Darren Hayes, Calvin Harris, Hot Chip and a scoop of Kylie."
His adoration for collaborations, strings and beats has led him to collaborate with remixers, a vast array of other musicians and even a poet. Now the turn is yours. He's running a remix competition, giving you the chance to have your mix released as part of Andrew's next digital single called 'Irresistible'.
"There is no guide as to the style that you should create - just go for it. You can do whatever you want to the remix files - chop them up and mess them about as much as you like. You don't have to use all of the samples but you must use some of the vocals." Deadline is April 30.
