Founded in London in 1995, Blu Mar Ten has been around ever since drum & bass started emerging from the underground. The duo (Chris Marigold and Leo Wyndham ) quickly grew and mutated beyond the confines of the jungle into lush experimentation with downtempo, ambient, house, breaks, techno & left-field for labels such as Naked Music, Guidance, Big Chill, with two full albums of such non-d&b material on Exceptional Records.
After Michael Tognarelli joined them in 2004, Blu Mar Ten returned to producing drum & bass with a number of releases on several high profile labels. They've released several new albums since including a remix album. Last year's "Love is the Devil" is their most recent one.
Last week they've joined forces with Kmag for an exclusive remix competition. Download the free parts to Blu Mar Ten's "All Or Nothing," remix it and win some great prizes.
The winning remix will be professionally mastered at Finyl Tweek and released as a digital exclusive as part of the "Love is the Devil remix project," alongside remixes from dBridge, Marcus Intalex, BCee, Joe Syntax, Unquote and Blu Mar Ten.
Read the interview on Kmag's contest page below and download several free tracks from Blu Mar Ten's website for inspiration. Don't forget to submit your entry by February 26.
