FOEM wants you to take part in the first ever competition in the history of the Harthouse Mannheim label, who soon will release the remixed version of Boris Brejcha's highly acclaimed "Schaltzentrale." For this contest, both music producers and graphic designers are invited to help shape the future digital release. Harthouse was founded in 1992 in Frankfurt/Offenbach by Matthias Hoffmann, Heinz Roth and Sven Väth, designed for a harder and minimalistic but danceable version of trance.
With three artist albums under his belt Boris Brejcha is one of Harthouse Mannheim's stable forces since the beginning of 2007. His music is a chain of surprises, combining known elements of electronic dance music with attractive ingredients from his personal sound vault. His sense of humour resonates in his productions as well as his predilection for unconventional parts. Brejcha did remixes for Alex Flatner, Maskio, Zoo Brazil and Stanny Franssen (just to name a few), he licensed tracks to a couple of compilations and you will find his tracks in playlists of the best DJs worldwide.
Four winning tracks will be chosen for the digital release of Boris Brejcha "Schaltzentrale" The Remixes. Anyone can also take up the challenge to design the artwork for the release, to get their work seen all over the Internet, with credits to their name.
Deadline for remix submissions is December 12, 2011.
