Brainpower is one of the best rappers and biggest names in Dutch and Belgian Hip Hop. After having had a #1 song in both Holland and Belgium, two gold records, a platinum record, numerous nominations and winning ten important awards (including MTV Europe Award for Best Dutch Act) plus having done nearly 2,500 shows during many years of extensive touring, Brainpower is working on finishing his international debut album.
Guest appearances on the album include Ultra, Kool Keith, Ced-Gee & RZA as well as NY rhyme icons such as Jean Grae & Shabazz The Disciple amongst others. The album will also feature productions by Big Boi of Outkast, Oh Jay, Gaspard De La Nuit and (the Alchemist/Dilated Peoples affilliated) duo Sid Roams.
Brainpower and one of Holland's best cabaret performers, Freek de Jonge, recently collaborated on the song "Wees Niet Bang" (which means "Don't Be Afraid") together and now have made the a capella available for remixing. Click here to download the a capella.
