CHORDS OF TRUTH REMIX CONTEST

Chords of Truth is a solo acoustic project by Folk Singer-Songwriter Jason Garriotte. In September of 2011, inspiration struck for Jason with a symphony of melodies and lyrics that would soon emerge as his debut EP "Reflections of Reality" released in January.

Chords of Truth influences include classic artists like Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Leonard Cohen and Cat Stevens, with a unique sound that has been compared to recent artists like Kurt Vile, Puscifer, Iron & Wine, and Ray Lamontagne. But also interested in the electronic styles of Paul Oakenfolk, Chemical Brothers, Sasha, Paul Van Dyke, ATB - Jason is very interested in getting his EP tracks remixed for an exciting remix project.

"I have created a remix contest that I think your users might be into. I believe you'll get where I'm coming from when you read the contest page and see what I set up. But essentially I am really excited about this contest based on a couple remixes I've had made and the way both the remixers and the online community responded to them. I'm looking forward to what people can create from my stems."

The primary purpose for Chords of Truth is to help empower everyone to challenge their perception of the world and create a positive experience for themselves and everyone around them. "And we all know that's what the world needs."
