COCOON REMIX CONTEST

With the help of Sven Vath's label Cocoon, Beatport has come up with a different twist for their next remix contest.

"Cocoon's catalog is impressively deep," says Noura Labbani of Beatport. "While we were trying to agree on which track we should offer, we realized we couldn't really pick just one - so why not let the Beatportal community make the final decision?"

It's up to you to decide which track from the Cocoon label makes it to the contest. In the running are Dinky's 'Acid In My Fridge', Extrawelt's 'Titelheld', and Guy Gerber's 'Timing'.

"On the occasion of our ten-year anniversary," says Cocoon, "we chose three tracks from the past ten years that have had the most requests for remixes, but never were remixed, due to various reasons. Now, we are really curious to see what we’ll get from all the producers out there!"

Cocoon is back at Amnesia in Ibiza for already a 11th season. This year's theme is PARTY ANIMALS. Make sure you check out Sven Vath's techno circus on the island that never sleeps!

Update: track to remix is Guy Gerber's 'Timing'!

Cocoon and Guy Gerber will choose their favorite winning remix, to be released on their label as well as receive a $200 Beatport gift card and Native Instrument’s Maschine. More info through the link below.
