FATBOY SLIM ‘WEAPON OF CHOICE’ REMIX CONTEST

Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) and his label Skint Records have put the track 'Weapon Of Choice' up for remixing in a new remix contest by Beatport. Previous contests Norman has done are the remix contest and lyrics contest for his Brighton Port Authority project.

'Weapon Of Choice' was released as a double A-side single in 2001 (incl. the track "Star 69") and saw success on both UK and US charts. Its accompanying music video, directed by Spike Jonze and featuring Christopher Walken, received praise and won both an MTV Video Music Award and a Grammy Award.

This contest is your chance to put your spin on the infamous track. The winning remix will be released on Fatboy Slim's Skint Records as well as receive free music downloads from Beatport and Open Lab's professional studio tool ‘DBeat’, a grand prize package worth over $4000.
