FRANCESCO FARFA REMIX CONTEST

Born in Florence, Italy, Francesco Farfa (real name:Francesco Casaburi) made fame as a DJ/producer in the mid 90s. Pioneer in the experimental electronics and club music and known for his mixing technique, Farfa has played at the world's most important clubs, raves and festivals such as Space, Pacha, Ministry Of Sound, Insomnia, Love Parade, Instant Karma, Sónar, Dance Valley, Winter Music Conference or Groove Parade.

During his 20 year career Francesco has produced a wide range of records, especially 12" singles under his own name or aliases such as Farfability and Mr. Message. His style has progressive elements to it but can also be described as anything in between trance and techno.

With his collaborator Alen Sforzina, Francesco Farfa is going to launch his new track "Aria" through a remix contest on FOEM. Official remixers of the track are erry Hunter, Carmelo Carone, Greg Goldsack and Orlando Voorn - and now the turn is yours.

The winner will see at least one of his tracks released on Avioground Records. Every style is welcome, and if you are a singer or songwriter, you are encouraged to mix your vocals in.
