Dub artist Gaudi has just completed his 12th album ‘No Prisoners’ which is due to be released worldwide in March 2010 by Six Degrees Records. The album features collabs with Michael Franti, Dub Gabriel, Elisa, and Dr. Israel - and it is from this latest album that the remix track “Bad Boy Bass” is taken.
Gaudi has been a leading name in the electronic dub scene for quite some years now, and has officially remixed names such as Bob Marley, Simple Minds, Fatboy Slim, The Orb, Zion train, Africa Bambaataa, Shpongle, to name just a few. Studio works with reggae legends Lee Scratch Perry and Horace Andy as well as his collab with hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash have further confirmed the talent of this fearless electronic producer.
Gaudi’s previous album “Dub Qawwali” blends organic and digital dub stylings with original vocals of “Pakistan’s Premier Ambassador of Qawwali Music” Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and earned him a nomination in the “World Music Awards 2008”.
All entries must be received by March 2 in order to be eligible. The winning remix will be released on the Gaudi Bad Boy Bass Remix EP alongside remixes by Liquid Stranger, Bandish Projekt and some other remixes.
