RE-MIX GEORGE W BUSH

Fri, January 11, 2008

With the American election coming up, this is definitely interesting stuff for all you media activists! In 2004, thebots.net organized "The Bush Raps (Re)Mix Contest". The contest is over, but you can still use the database of 15,000 keyword searchable audio samples of the voice of George W Bush, which they used to create the parody song 'Fuzzy Math'.

The site still encourages people to download the free samples and create their own parody mixes using Bush his voice. Check all the cool songs people made for the contest here.

Equalling about 10 Gigagbytes of data, the original .WAV files in the database are too large to put on their website. If you are doing a really serious project with the samples, the site asks you to consider buying the samples of the largest archive of Bush parody mixes on the internet.

To make it even more enjoyable, here's a link to About.com's coverage of George W. Bush's mangling of the mother tongue, including the latest Bushisms and other funny Bush quotes.

Have fun :)
