HOME VIDEO REMIX CONTEST

Get ready to flick the faders, press the buttons and turn the knobs as Progrezo Records invite you to remix a recent track by Brooklyn's latest artist to watch - Home Video.

Home Video are Collin Ruffino and David Gross, transplants from the misunderstood landscape of New Orleans, now living in the brooding brownstones of Brooklyn, New York. Here they revel in a self-created world of references to Edward Gorey, Massive Attack, The Brothers Quay, Smashing Pumpkins, and a dusting of Chopin - references that they have been collecting for nearly ten years. As electronic-rock producers and performers, they record everything themselves, then adapt it live into a full on rock show with live drums and hypnotic visual projections. On their latest album, The Automatic Process, the band layers samples, synthesizers, piano, guitar, and live drums to build an electro-tinted minimalist rock sound.

Vivid remixers themselves too, it's now your turn to match Home Video's remixing skills and work your technical magic on their album track 'I Can Make You Feel It', an emotionally intense piece of electro-indie produced by the duo, currently in rotation on MTV.

Hosted by FOEM the contest runs for three full months as usual. The winner will be rewarded with at least two releases on Progrezo Records, along with a cash prize.
