Following last year's charity compilation, It Began in Africa, Kittball Records and Beatport invite aspiring producers to produce their own track inspired by Africa, using the vocal parts—recorded by the African Children’s Choir—that were featured in Andreas Henneberg & Simon2's "Bolingo Gringo".
The winning entry will be featured on It Began in Africa Vol. 2, with the winning producer/remixer taking home $200 in Beatport credit, a V-Moda Crossfade headphones unit, plus a Kittball promo package. All proceeds from the compilation will go towards charity efforts in Africa.
Produce for Charity
The money donated back to the African Children's Choir goes to support their efforts to help children escape a life on the streets, through various development efforts, founding nurseries and schools, and other initiatives.
