JAHCOOZI REMIX CONTEST

To mark the release of their new album 'Barefoot Wanderer' on BPitch Control, Jahcoozi are doing a remix competition for the track 'Barefoot Dub'.
Jahcoozi are a musical/cultural mash up operation who have consistently managed to deliver their very own mongrel style of electronic pop music. Those behind this creative alliance are MC Sasha Perera (London/Sri Lanka), Robot Koch (Germany) and Oren Gerlitz (Israel).
Jahcoozi's unique and ever-changing blend of avant-dub-glitch-step based sound suceeds in combining honest, communicative pop sensibilities with warm sub- basses and a crunchy, precise yet organic sound texture.
After two full-length albums they have been back in the studio putting together a new album entitled "Barefoot Wanderer". Together with Soundcloud, Jahcoozi has started a remix contest for their fans to remix their new track 'Barefoot Dub'. Winning remix has the possibility to be digitally released on BPitch Control.
The Jahcoozi Remix Competition ends on April 9th, 2010. The same day "Barefoot Wanderer" is released on Ellen Allien's Bpitch label with remixes by Click Box, Milanese, Mr. Statik and Object Object.
