Welcome To The Soundtrack Loops Jazzy Chillout Producer Challenge. This contest is sponsored by Scorpio Music Productions, basicLUX Records, and Peace Love Productions.

Get the pieces of a smooth and Jazzy tune by composer John Hobart of Scorpio Music Productions. Your challenge is to take the pieces and put them back together in a fresh and creative way. The finished tune has to sound like it would fit on the New Sound Theory 5 compilation CD. No drums have been provided so it’s up to you to make a grooving beat. Genres include chillout, downtempo, lounge, and deep house. That isn’t all! Your tune must contain at least one of the recognized loops or midi files from the Jazzy Chillout producer pack. Think you can handle that?

Three winners will be chosen. First place wins placement on the New Sound Theory Vol 5 compilation, goodies from basicLUX Records, and a VIP producers vault from Peace Love Productions.

The original Tempo is 120 BPM and the key is A Major. All entries must be fully uploaded by midnight US CST on June 30th, 2012.
