KASKADE REMIX CONTEST

Kaskade (born Ryan Raddon) is an American DJ and record producer who's been working in the music industry for quite some time. From owning his own record store back in the 90s to working as an A&R assistant for deep house label Om Records in San Francisco. He's currently releasing his music on Ultra Records.

Last year, his name was brought into the spotlight after releasing succesful dance tracks with Canadian house/electronic DJ/artist Deadmau5. With "Move For Me" he made his fifth top ten hit on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart reaching the number one position in September 2008.

This month Kaskade will release his sixth solo album entitled 'Dynasty'. To support the release of the album Kaskade asks his fans for remixes of the title track in a new Beatport remix contest. 'Dynasty' is the first single on the album and features the vocals of Haley, known to the fans as the ethereal singer of 'I Remember' and 'Move For Me.' The remix stems are sold at $3.99 USD.

From 20 nominees (10 by users and 10 by Beaport staff), Kaskade and Ultra Records will choose their favorite winning remix, to be released on their label as well as receive the grand prize package which includes DJ Hero game, one pair of WESC Bag Pipe headphones, WESC clothing and a $200 Beatport gift card.
