LYCHEE MARTINI REMIX CONTEST

Lychee Martini is a group from down under that fuses dance and Latin grooves, dub ambience and melodies with a jazz sensibility. They perform regularly at inner-city bars, clubs and café’s around Melbourne.

While their debut EP 'Volume 1' was launched in November 2009 - their debut album is due for release mid 2010.

Lychee Martini teamed up with audio tech & engineering communtity Sound Punk, to launched a remix competition for the track 'Through To Me.'

Remixes that came forward from their previous remix contest have been released by Smash Bang Records at the time, on worldwide digital release. This time the winning remix will be released with Lychee Martini's debut album :)

"To celebrate the release of our debut EP 'Volume 1' late last year and kill some time before our album comes out in April/May, we're giving people a chance to remix 'Through To Me' - one of the new tunes from the EP, and have it released with the album (amongst other prizes). 'Through To Me' is an uptempo dub track with multi-layered female vocals by Nicole Shenko, pristine parts recorded and mixed by Christian Scallan and mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound."

The competition will be running until the 28th of March and winners will be announced two weeks later.
