METAFORM REMIX CONTEST

Metaform (born Justice Aaron) is a Tokyo based American music producer, musician, and songwriter. His 2008 debut album "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants", was very well received and dubbed "One of the best instrumental hip-hop records in years" by Alternative Press. DJ times called it "Cinematic and addictive."

While "Standing on the Shoulders of Giants" was constructed entirely from samples, Metaform's musical roots are also tied to metal and punk as Justice played in various rock orientated bands at a younger age. With his new album "The Electric Mist" Metaform turned yet in another direction. Call it trip hop that rocks if you like.

From his website Justice calls on you to remix the first track from the new album, "Electric Eyes," a slow, mind expanding song with intriguingly distorted vocals.

"The time is upon us once again where we all have the chance to determine the direction of the Metaform project. This time the invitation goes out to all the beat-makers, musicians, remixers and producers. I humbly invite you to remix the first track from the new album, "Electric Eyes". The winning remix will receive the title of "Official Remix" and it will be broadcast to thousands of Press and Radio people, as well as the entire Metaform audience."
