M.I.A. REMIX CONTEST

To celebrate the release of her new album M.I.A. is offering the acapella version of her new track, "Steppin' Up" to be remixed by the fans.

"Steppin' Up" is the second track from her upcoming album, /\/\ /\ Y /\ (MAYA), and was produced by Rusko, a dubstep producer from the UK.

Along with doing a remix competition for the album, M.I.A. is also performing at HARD LA on Saturday July 17th alongside N.E.R.D, DIE Antwoord, Flying Lotus, Rye Rye, Switch, Gaslamp Killer and Joker. Great line-up btw!


Download the acapella track, remix it, drop it in the drop box. Winners get free tickets to HARD LA / M.I.A. with access to the artist's VIP and their remix featured in HARD's newsletter and on the N.E.E.T. and HARD websites.

There's two ways to win this contest: either by getting the most 'favorites' on Soundcloud, or by impressing HARD & N.E.E.T.'s private panel of judges! It's up to you. Have fun remixing this track. We hope you do. We're a big fan of M.I.A. as well....
