Mint is Murray Fisher, co-owner of independent UK record label Boltfish Recordings. Influenced by a broad spectrum of musicians such as Beethoven, Orbital, Charlie Parker, SpiceLab, Pachelbel and Bob Marley - his music covers an eclectic range of genres but always uses carefully crafted melody as a common thread. Like a children's music box that stirs your warmest memories ;)

His production often delves into the style of playful nursery rhyme tunes accompanied by stuttering beats and atmospheres, or heartfelt cinematic style compositions. Mint's latest album "Cardboard Rocketships" was released on Boltfish Recordings last month.

The label is now offering the chance to remix not one, but a selection of tracks from "Cardboard Rocketships". The winning remixes will be featured on a future Boltfish Recordings release alongside commissioned remixes from established artists.

The remix judged as the most refreshing interpretation will also receive a special bundle of Boltfish Recordings releases.

Deadline is August 30th, 2009.

Update: The contest is closed - but the remix files are still available.
