NINE INCH NAILS REMIX ONLY EVENT

Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) thinks bit different about remixing his work. While most bands do competitions, he decided to give away the multitrack files of ONLY with "no agenda other than to explore, experiment, and have fun with." The files are available from the NIN site in formats for Apple Garageband, DigiDesign ProTools, Ableton Live and Sony Acid.

The files for ONLY became available more than a year ago now. While the NIN site makes no statement about a contest; local radio shows and websites started "listen & vote" pages for ONLY remixes. A dedicated NIN-remix page at MySpace publishes a top 50 of best rated tracks, while there are many more remixes listed. Browsing the tons of remixes there unveils more exotic and even better remixes than the top 50 ones. And new ones are still added! We might include some of them in our music player just for fun. For sure ONLY has more offspring than any other track ever had. Who knows it'll be listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
