PHOTEK REMIX CONTEST

Although Photek is recognized as one of the founding pioneers of Drum & Bass, it has been his ability to take the signature Photek sound to outside of the genre that has set him apart from the crowd. Originally from London, Photek is now based in Los Angeles where through film music and artist collaborations, he finds himself evolving into an ever broader range of music and making his best work yet.

With Virgin Records he managed to chart some of the most groundbreaking music into mainstream consciousness with albums "Modus Operandi" and "Solaris". His singles have spanned the full range of electronic music with straight up club hits like "Mine To Give" to the most legendary & abstract "Ni Ten Ichi Ryu".

He's scored and remixed music from artists including Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Bjork, Gwen Stefani, Goldie, Zero 7, Shy Fx/Elephant Man, Everything But The Girl, Roni Size "Reprazent" amongst others.

Photek is now looking for a dubstep and 4 to the floor remix of his DnB track "Fake ID", in cooperation with the Talenthouse Community. If your remix is selected as the winning remix it will become an official Photek release.
