PONY PONY RUN RUN REMIX CONTEST

Pony Pony Run Run is a French power pop trio, that originally started out as a five piece band in Nantes, France in 2003.

Influenced by alternative bands such as Devo and Weezer, they released their first album You Need Pony Pony Run Run last year in France on their label 3ème Bureau.

Their music is catchy, upbeat, and comes with infectious hooks and English vocals with a charming French accent - and received quite some coverage in the blogsphere in 2009.

Following their remix contest on Fairtilizer last year they've now teamed up with mxp4 for a new contest for the track Walking On A Line.

"Pony Pony Run Run is offering you the chance to engage artistically with them by giving you access to their music and allowing you to remix it with complete artistic freedom. Whether you are a singer, producer, dj, musician or all the above, make this track yours. All music must be 100% original content."

Mxp4 is an interactive music format developed few years ago by Paris-based company Musinaut (now mxp4) that allows you to play around with the music you've purchased in this format in stead of just listening to it.

The contest deadline is March the 26th, the best remix will be included on the Walking On A Line Remixes EP.
