POSTHUMAN REMIX COMPETITION

Sat, November 28, 2009
Posthuman are cousins Rich Bevan and Joshu Doherty from the UK, writing electronic music since 1999. Between 2001 to 2004 they hosted a number of live extravaganzas at an abandoned tube station in Aldwych, near The Strand, featuring many of their musical heroes, influences, friends and contempories – including Plaid, Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert, showcases of labels such as Novamute, Skam, Warp, and many more. Cool or what?!

Over the following years they continued to produce & play live as Posthuman, releasing several albums, a couple of EPs, throwing parties in a converted cinema and a prison, and playing live across Europe & the UK, including in a windmill, an iron mine, a boat, a farm that was burnt to the ground the same night, and all-weekend raves held in Pontins holiday camps.
