THE ECHOING GREEN REMIX CONTEST

Named after a poem by William Blake published in Songs of Innocence in 1789, The Echoing Green are an electronic music band from New Mexico (USA). Driving force behind the Echoing Green is Joey Belville, who set off with the band's musical journey in 1994. Since that time, the band has released eight artists albums, one live album, three remix albums as well as several compilation albums.

While electronic music may be closely associated with the dance club scene, The Echoing Green has always tried to distance themselves from the techno-dance stereotype, and that’s especially true with the groups more recent records. While there may be some danceable elements in the songs of the Echoing Green, primarily they’re designed to just be songs.

Remix community FiXt are having a remix contest for Echoing Green track "Revenge" off their latest album "In Scarlet and Vile" released on March 11, 2011, on A Different Drum. The contest has three cash prizes. Winners will be hand picked by The Echoing Green.

You may enter as many mixes as you like during the contest, but keep in mind that we're looking for quality not necessarily quantity from an individual user. Mixes that are out of key, out of timing (in a non-musical sense) or have illegal samples will be flagged by the FiXt community and moderated.
