MICHEL DE HEY REMIX CONTEST

Michel de Hey is Holland’s #1 techno and tech house DJ, who already started to mix records back in 1986. His DJ sets have branded him a pioneer of the underground techno scene, and earned him a summer residency in Ibiza as well as a stage each week on the global club circuit. Michel de Hey guarantees quality with long sets that entertain, engage and cook the dancefloor.

His first production success came in 1992 with the release “Break” that made it into the top 10 of the US billboard Dance Charts. Since then, the charts have been a second home to Michel de Hey as both a solo artist and in collaboration with artists such as M.I.R.K.O.. His DJ mix compilations have been released in popular series such as 'Essential Elements,' and many more.

His name in the scene for so many years it has evolved into a bandname for quality techno. Today Michel de Hey runs two labels [HEY! Records & EC Records], organizes regular HEY! parties, runs the HEY-Muzik radio show, and has a string of awards and chart soaring productions under his belt.

On July 5th Michel de Hey will perform at the opening party for Carl Cox’s 10th anniversary celebration of the Carl Cox Revolution at Space Ibiza, alongside Coxy and Fatboy Slim.
