REMIX THE RIVERBOAT GAMBLERS

The Riverboat Gamblers are a punk rock band from Texas (US) who released their self titled debut album 'The Riverboat Gamblers' on Vilebeat in 2002. Despite attention from major record labels since their South by Southwest (SXSW) performance in 2003, the band released their second album 'Something To Crow About' on indie rock label Gearhead Records.

The Riverboat Gamblers are currently signed to Volcom - a company with a 'Youth Against Establishment' attitude founded on a snowboarding trip in 1991. The main goal of Volcom is to provide clothing to people who share a passion for art, music, film, skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding and motocross. They are focused on supporting athletes, artists and musicians – the latter through their in-house independent record label Volcom Entertainment.

The Riverboat Gamblers are running a remix contest for their song “Robots May Break Your Heart” from their website. You can walk away with a Volcom clothing package valued at $1000, a 1TB Seagate hard disk and a signed vinyl copy of their 2009 LP release "Underneath the Owl".

All remixes must be submitted by August 20, 2010.
