SCSI-9 Remix Contest

SCSI-9 REMIX CONTEST

Hosted by FOEM you can remix the SCSI-9 track "Sunny Side Up" for a chance to have your work out on London based label Apparel Music.

Short for small computer system interface, SCSI is a parallel interface for attaching peripheral devices to computers. Lending their artist name SCSI-9 from the interface, Russian duo Anton Kubikov and Maxim Milutenko have been releasing their music mainly as vinyl EPs since 2001. After their second albun 'Digital Russian' (2x12" and CD) saw light on Force Tracks in 2003, a steady stream of quality releases followed - mostly released on German labels such as Kompakt, Highgrade, Neuton Music, as well as on netlabels Fragment and Sutemos.

Today, with a total of 5 albums under their belt, SCSI-9 are among Russia's most productive dance music producers, and their current label Apparel Music is looking for new talent. With their "Sunny Side Up'' remix contest they want to give remixers a chance to be part of the London based label. The new SCSI9 12" will be out worldwide in May and the associated contest offers a golden opportunity for you to be be featured alongside one of the most important Russian artists now on the scene.

The remix contest hosted by FOEM invites you to remix the track Sunny Side Up for a chance to have your work out on Apparel. Three winners will see their remix on the "Sunny Side Remixes EP " out in all major digital stores in July, but only the best one will have the chance to release a digital EP with Apparel in September.

Deadline for submitting your remix is July 7th, 2011.
