Soulforce are a German DJ- and producerteam coming from a reggae & dancehall background. With their unique style of remixes, mash ups and productions Soulforce found their own twist in bringing together their roots with other contemporary music like hip hop or bashment basement music.
Their 2005 release "Remix Conference 1" marked the official beginning of Soulforce. Several tracks of the CD made their way to the German reggae charts and to London's BBC 1Xtra radio station. Beside the music thing Soulforce are working on one of the freshest online stores and blogs in Germany and they are concentrating on establishing a clothing line for hard working full and part-time hustlers.
Soulforce are having a remix contest for the track "The Power" featuring the Jamaican reggae band Ward 21. The contest winner will be released either digital or on vinyl, while the second prize winner gets to spend 50 euros at the Soulforce Store. Deadline is 24.12.2009.
